Tau Beta Sigma is a co-ed musical service sorority that was founded at Miami in 1969. We focus on serving the music program at Miami, particularly the marching band. However, many of our projects benefit the community at large. Some of our service projects include cleaning up a two mile long stretch of Rt. 732 north of Oxford, transporting the band’s rain coats to and from each game, setting up and tearing down the band field for each practice, and volunteering at a local animal shelter. We have a strong active membership of thirty-eight, with a new class of twenty-six membership candidates currently striving to join the chapter.
